You Win Some, You Lose Some

I had the best food day I have had in quite some time; it wasn't perfect, but it was much, much better than it has been. On the other hand, my exercise was pretty sad. I did a bit of walking around as I skulked through the retail stores on the hunt for Christmas gifts, but the official activity level was nearly non-existent. I suppose some improvement is better than none.

FOOD & BEVERAGES:
- 5 glasses of water
- 1 pear
- 1 golden delicious apple
- 1 banana
- 12 inch sub on a Parmesan oregano bun with deli ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, green pepper, black olives, honey mustard sauce, light mayonnaise, and pepper
- 1/2 chocolate cupcake topped with marshmallows and chocolate icing
- 1 large glass piƱa colada slushy drink

EXERCISE:
- 10 squats

  1. I'm glad your food was better. Sometimes all we need to get on track is a good day--and then other ones follow. I think the old cliche "success breeds success" is true. My best to you...

  3. Keep moving forward and listen to your body, it wants to be stong and healthy. Treats are a good way of not going crazy. this is a way of life not just a on and off agiain thing. Its ok not to be perfect as long as your making an effort, You are stong and have done so well, so use what you have learned and keep making the right choices for you.

  6. The food looks great! But don't starve yourself! There aren't a lot of calories today and I'd hate to see you get so hungry adn frustrated that you start going to the junk again :)

  9. Hi, You may have already read this book but I just found a couple of people who recommended it so I'm going to try to find it tomorrow. It's called The End of Overeating by David Kessler. Sounds like it might be very helpful in getting us to turn around our bad eating habits. I'm for that! http://boingboing.net/2009/05/07/end-of-overeating-th.html

  10. Definitely a lot better, but allow yourself at least three square meals.
