I was shocked at how low my food IQ was and we worked on a meal plan that worked for me. And while I don't think you need to count calories if you don't want to, I think it's probably worthwhile to educate yourself on the basic facets of nutrition. Realize that there is too little food, as well as too much, and take a look at what you can do. You don't need to necessarily pay a nutritionist, though.
