Whew!<br /><br />Ruth, I use two pound weights for the majority, but if it is a move that I feel like I can handle more on I use my five pounders after the first day of a new level. I made my way up to eight pounds for just a couple of the exercise on the DVD so far. I agree, planks are hard, but they do get easier.<br />I could relate to your fear factor on this, as I remember how much of a fervor I used to get myself worked up with regards to the shoulder stand pose in my yoga class. Just had myself convinced I couldn't do it for some reason. The first day I did it (almost without thinking about it), I was so happy!<br />I just now looked at your most recent progress pictures. OMG! What an amazing difference between the start picture and your current one.
