I'm Dreaming Of A Light Christmas

We managed to make our way around to visit and celebrate with four different groups of people today! It was fabulous to spend time with loved ones, but I am beyond stuffed. Seriously, my food list is probably as horrific as it has ever been on here! I will leave this day of overindulgence where it belongs though – in the past – and move forward with healthier choices tomorrow. Now that’s a great Christmas gift!

FOOD & BEVERAGES:
- 9 glasses of water
- 1/2 cup candied almonds and dried cranberries
- 2 pieces homemade stollen with sugar and butter
- 1/2 cup party mix snack
- 1 large eggnog milkshake
- 1 1/4 cups French fries with salt and honey mustard sauce
- 2 cheeseburgers on hamburger buns with onion, ketchup, and mustard
- 15 cheese crackers with cheese
- 1/2 cup cheezies
- 1/4 cup jelly beans
- 1 glass diet lemon lime soda
- 5 homemade miniature fruit and pecan shortbread cookies
- 4 gherkin pickles
- 1 cup grape, broccoli, celery, green onion, and pecan salad with a homemade mayonnaise, vinegar, and sugar dressing
- 1/2 cup stuffing
- 1/2 turkey leg with cranberry sauce
- 1/4 cup corn with margarine
- 1 white dinner bun with butter
- 2 pieces of a homemade chocolate and peanut butter marshmallow bar
- 1 piece of a homemade coconut fudge and pecan bar
- 2 slices of a homemade pistachio and raspberry holiday log
- 12 herb crackers with spicy cheese
- 1 piece of homemade lavender fudge
- 1 cup homemade trifle
- 2 miniature peanut butter cups
- 1 piece of almond roca
- 1 nut cluster
- 1/8 cup flavoured jelly beans

EXERCISE:
- 10 squats

  1. I'm in the same boat. Did not indulge in so many sweets (I had two pieces of pumpkin pie)but definitely had WAY too many calories during the day in cornbread dressing, pork roast, gravy, rolls and cranberry sauce. Very delicious and now it's back to counting points with WW.It feels good to have a plan. :)

  2. My list isn't as varied as yours, but I definitely overdid it on a spiral sliced honey ham my wife cooked. I could make a bullet list as long as yours that just said:

    - slice of ham
    - another slice of ham
    - not hungry anymore, but this ham is great, have one more
    - Ah, it's Christamas, what's one more slice
    - etc etc

  3. Hee hee, I can relate to Matt about the ham. :) Today is a new day. We can choose to behave with love, caring and kindness towards ourselves. Perfection not required.

  4. Just remember...it's more important what happens, food and exercise wise, between New Years day and Christmas than Christmas and New Years day. Btw...the egg nog shake sounds yummy!

  6. The improved LED lights are used in fiber optic data transmission systems, medical equipment, and bar code scanners. Also, new colors of LED lights are now possible, such as green, yellow and orange.
