Walk It Off

I am feeling really emotional. It just came on like a ton of bricks this evening and I have not handled it well. On the slightly better side, I did manage to get in some pretty good walking time today. It’s just too bad it won’t make up for the surplus of calories I consumed at the end of the night.

FOOD & BEVERAGES:
- 5 glasses of water
- 3 miniature Mandarin oranges
- 1 banana
- 1 strawberry bran muffin
- 1 piece of a peanut butter bar with icing
- 1 golden delicious apple
- 5 chocolate filled tube wafer cookies
- 3 butter toffee rice cakes
-1 mug decaffeinated tea with milk
- 12 cheese crackers with cheese
- 1 mug eggnog steamed skim milk
- 1 cup pasta with Parmesan and garlic cream sauce
- 5 honey garlic chicken wings
- 1 1/2 cups onion wings with honey mustard sauce
- 2 cups peanut butter and toffee chocolate bar ice cream blend

EXERCISE:
- 1 hour and 10 minutes of walking completed in 2 outings (50 minutes long and 20 minutes long)

  1. I think the great walking does help (some) when end up overeating at night. Getting the exercise in always helps keep our metabolisms up. You're moving in the right direction! This time of year is so hard to stay motivated! Hang in.

  2. You should try limiting the amount of 'junk food' in your house and stop buying the things you tend to binge on late at night... just my opinion. seems like you consume lots of ice cream. how about instead buying some frozen yogurt? so same satisfaction just not so many cal's

  3. When it is hard for me to control what I eat-like now-I find that exercise really helps. Not only to help me eventually get my eating under control, but also to help my head stop reeling.

Because I am usually really emotional at such times. Like you are today. Also, something simple like a full spectrum light bulb can make a BIG difference in as little as 5 minutes a day.

    Also,
    You
    Have
    Divinity
    in you
Just look at what you've done. You are amazing. That transcends your faults.

  4. I am also on an emotional eating frenzy! But you know what... you are paying attention to the fact that you are emotional eating. That is a start. And thet is great that you did so much walking!!! Keep it up! You are doing great!
    Have a pretty day!
