Slow But Steady

The last couple of days haven’t been perfect, but they have been an improvement. I am glad to feel like I am making some progress even if it isn’t as quick as I might like…

- 8 glasses of water
- 1 banana
- 2 cheese rice cakes
- 1 apple
- 2 wraps on soft tortilla shells with deli ham, cheese, and margarine
- 3/4 cup strawberry yogurt
- 1 apple cinnamon cereal bar
- 1 1/2 cups chicken noodle soup with 10 cheese crackers
- 1 cup pasta with Alfredo sauce
- 1 cup steamed broccoli with margarine
- 1/2 cup roast chicken
- 1 homemade chocolate chip muffin
- 1 mug eggnog steamed skim milk

- 50 minutes of walking completed in 2 outings (15 minutes long and 35 minutes long)

  1. SO much better!!! Way to go! You CAN do it!!!

  2. You're making real progress girl and I'm so proud of you, with the food AND the exercise. I know you care about yourself, and I know you're fighting and clawing to get back to the right mindset. I'm pulling for you every day. :)

  3. wow, i see lots of improvement. you can do this!

  4. whoo hoooooooooo!!!:)

  5. You GO girl!!!
Good for you... just take it 1 day at a time...

  6. Nice progress...slow and steady is the best way to go, even though we wish it could be quicker.

  7. You're getting back on track! Keep it up. I'm really happy to see a lack of the usual "ice cream blend" on this list! That should just be an occasional treat. Hopefully you're keeping track of calories, too? That's usually the quickest way to force yourself to get back on track - set a daily limit and stick to it. Anyway, keep it up! We are all rooting for you!

  8. that is much slide into sugar in the afternoon. great job.

  9. Trust your body. It can not fail you!

  10. AWESOME DAY, way to get back on track. Yey for more water and NO ice cream!!!
Well done and keep up the good trend!

  11. Wow! That's great!'re back! I was very worried. I knew you could do it! :) Praying for you.

  12. Hey, there's some actual fruits/veggies/lean protein in there. Yes! Progress!

  13. While I want to join all of the other commentors in offering support and congratulations, I also want to say (without judgment) that your food lists for the last few weeks were pretty darn scary from a health standpoint... And I can TOTALLY relate to being in that place of being out of control with the food. Know you are working really hard to get back to a place of health...Be kind and compassionate with yourself as you make this journey.

Look forward to reading more of your healthy food lists. You can do this. Me, too...
