Stress Eating

I have a bit of a stressful day ahead of me tomorrow. I am not looking forward to it, but I am going to do my best to not let my emotions get the best of me when it comes to my eating. Old habits may die hard, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t die at all.

- 3/4 cup low fat lemon meringue yogurt with 1 cup Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 cup jalapeƱo potato chips

- 1 apple fritter
- 1 mug eggnog steamed skim milk
- 1 bite glazed doughnut
- 1 orange cream filled chocolate bar
- 1 strawberry cream filled chocolate bar
- 1 apple
- 1 1/2 cups macaroni and cheese with pepper
- 3/4 cup steamed broccoli with margarine
- 1 cup meatballs with gravy
- 12 large crackers with light cream cheese and hot pepper jelly

EXERCISE:
- 6 1/2 hours of walking around while shopping

  1. I used to have a lot of problems with stress eating. I recommend deep breathing and drinking lots of water. You can get through it.

  5. I completely understand being in stress eating mode. And for me, it always occurs around holiday time, when I'm cooking, cleaning, etc. I'm trying to do less cooking this year, by purchasing more of the food items already prepared. It helps me!
