For the second day in a row I am going to bed early enough to feel like I’m finally getting a proper night’s rest. That’s the positive. On the more negative side of things, today was a pretty bad eating day. Halloween candy and left over bake sale items equated to a temptation that proved too much for me right now. But, back to the plus side of things, I am thinking that catching up on my sleep will leave me better equipped to deal with similar circumstances in the days to come.

Why are you eating so much sugar. Obviously, that is your biggest problem. I do hope that you get yourself back on track soon. Another thing I've noticed, you don't weigh in on Saturdays anymore. Any particular reason? Or are you weighing in, just not blogging it because it's now in the 60's. I sure hope not! You're going the wrong way. You have done so well in the past and now you're flirting with disaster. With the upcoming holidays, things can only get worse. Please try harder.
ReplyDeleteHi there. I have copied and pasting something YOU wrote in your very first blog post. "I am starting this blog to help keep myself on track. My plan is to advertise the URL on a website or two to try and attract some followers who will help keep me in check. One of my main failings in my past weight loss efforts has been that I don't hold myself accountable, so I am hoping that some nice people out there will basically stay on my tail, encourage me when I'm doing well, and kick butt when I have been letting things slide. I am not looking for abuse, but guidance, suggestions, wisdom, understanding, and advice are more than welcome! "
ReplyDeleteTake the advice people are giving you openly and with love. You CAN halt this reversal into bad eating habits if you dig deep and own it. xx
i'm sure you know all this, but perhaps it will help to see it written out: looking at this list, i'd say that at least 80% of the food you ate today was what i would call a "treat", as in, something to be eaten in moderation and only every so often. any way you look at it, consuming 3 slices of pizza, 2 grilled cheese sandwiches, and ice cream in a waffle cone in a single day is not good for you. especially not paired with the rest-chocolate, candy, cookies, and alcohol. what surprises me is that you have commented very little on your recent eating habits, saying only that "today was not a very good day." i'm sure that everyone who reads your blog would like to hear your thoughts on this, where this is coming from. maybe having the support of this community will help you deal with some of the emotions that may be causing this. i'm not trying to attack you or assume anything that isn't true. but please take the advice of those who are giving it to you!
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to slip. It's a rough journey. No amount of comments and advice can turn your eating around. Only you can. What makes us stop and say enough is enough? If we knew the answer to that, we'd be millionaires!
ReplyDeleteI admire you for continuing to write and for posting your food. I would love to see you bulk up your eating with veggies, lean proteins and complex carbs - limiting your treats to 1x a week. Only lifestyle change is lasting 266. But,only YOU can decide that's what you want.
I get it, I've been there and I've done that. I'm scared I'm going to do it again.
Thinking of you.
You are heading back to 266....and if you continue eating like this it won't take long.... why don't you try and analyze your food intake on calorie count and see how it adds up... Your calories, fat, carbs and sodium are WAY too high and not much fiber...Where are your fruits or veggies?????
ReplyDeleteWe really do care and I hope you will get your act together soon... Your blog use to give me so much help and it breaks my heart to see you going the wrong direction....and you've been really eating horrible for the past few months now...
I keep hoping to come on here and see you have a good eating day...this blog is getting very depressing. You know at the tremendous speed that you lose weight you could turn this around real quick.
