Focusing On Something Different

It has been one very long day. But, it was productive and I feel like the efforts I have been putting forth in my life did pay off a little this afternoon. All in all I think being as busy as I was today helped a bit with the normal cravings I have been having lately. I guess I had so much on the go that my brain had a chance to focus on other things. I still haven’t been able to get through a day in quite a while without consuming some sweets (as always, the temptation to write something along the lines of “…quite a while without some sweets sneaking in” is strong, but I always try to remember to word things in a way that ensures that I am taking responsibility for my actions). However, I am perfectly willing to find and rejoice in whatever small victories I can right now. All in all I would say the day was a bit of an improvement.

  1. You totally rock! I linked my readers to your fabulous video, as well as the progress photos on your sidebar. Don't expect much traffic, though, because I have few readers. A few of my friends who know me will read occasionally, but because there are icky pictures and horrible measurement numbers on my blog, I pretty much don't invite people who actually know me to read it. Anyway, just wanted to REMIND YOU that you ABSOLUTELY ROCK!!! CathyB

  2. I'm glad you are still keeping up with your blog. It is definitely one of the best. I do have a question about your "sweets". Are these thrown in your path in a working environment such as big box of bakery items brought in by co-worker or do you bring them into your house? My worst trigger foods are ice cream and REALLY good bread. Can't have either of those in my house without the calling of my name from the kitchen. Sigh. So, I stop by McDonald's occasionally for a cone or my favorite frozen yogurt shop for a small serving just to keep myself from feeling deprived. Just curious about the apple fritters and cinnamon buns and carrot cake and such.
