Weigh-In For Week 43

I have to admit that I have been pretty surprised by how quickly the weight I gained during my time away has come off. I believe that nearly every day this week I have seen the number on the scale get smaller and smaller. I haven’t had this quick of a loss since I started this journey! I weighed in today at 145.8 for a loss of 4.8 pounds over the past six days (I weighed in a day late last week), though it is still with a gain of 1.4 for the month.

I am very glad that I am closing in on seeing my lowest weight again. Unfortunately, with today being the first weigh-in of June, I feel obliged to post my normal progress photo and updated measurements. Obviously, due to the slower losses at the start of the month and the gains that I saw during the past couple of weeks, these reflect just about no change since the start of May.
Weight - 145.8 lbs (-108.8 from start / +1.4 from May)
Bust - 36.0 inches (-14.0 from start / -0.5 from May)
Waist - 32.5 inches (-15.5 from start / +1.0 from May)
Hips - 39.5 inches (-15.5 from start / -0.0 from May)
Arms - 12.5 inches (-5.0 from start / -0.5 from May)
Thighs - 22.5 inches (-10.0 from start / -0.0 from May)
BMI - 22.8 (-17.1 from start / +0.2 from May)

One of the things I am most pleased with about this weigh-in is the simple fact that I was able to change my sidebar banner back to say that I have lost 120 pounds in total. I really wasn’t happy about having to back it down to read 115 last week, and so I am very glad to have it back where it was!

  1. Way to head in the right direction again. I knew those pounds weren't "real" weight. But, from someone who has lost and gained, when you don't get back into the groove and lose that "fake weight", it becomes real weight really soon and then some. So happy for you 266!

  2. Yay for you!!! You are awesome! You sure got this down! What an inspiration you are to me! Keep up the good work.

  3. You look fabulous! I am now at 266. I tried to find a section on your blog about what you ate, what you didnt eat, what you changed in your life etc. Couldnt find one. Could you give me some helpful tips!? Thanks :)

  4. Great job. You continue to be an inspiration! :)

  5. Your pictures continue to inspire me, your stories give me hope. Your month didn't go as well as you'd hoped. From one human to another, we are all works in progress. Keep focussing on your successes, they are awesome!

  6. Thanks, everybody! I am actually really proud of this loss! It's great to know that I am back at it - more or less ;) - and that a stumble doesn't mean that I can't get back up (or down, as the case may be)!

Miss Felicity, I post what I eat every day, but the jist of it is aiming for healthier, whole foods. I really changed that significantly from my pre-packaged, microwavable, ultra-preserved selections from before. Also, my activity levels have been significantly increased (this week, notwithstanding). I used to get almost no exercise, but now I try to get in half hour to an hour of high energy stuff every day (that is down from an hour or two of low energy options - mostly walking - when I first began). The best place that I can direct you to is here: If you have any other specific questions just ask; I am happy to answer!

  7. You look awesome still & amazing that you are still standing upright with your crazy schedule!
