The number is pretty unimportant this week. It is an official gain, but it is also a loss from just a few days ago. Tuesday morning saw me step on the scale six pounds up from my last weigh-in, so the fact that I have already lost more than half of that shows me that I am slowly making progress even if the record may reflect otherwise.
I am good with this week. It has been a very educational period and I know that is far more valuable than any number ever could be.

Good for you for seeing the positive side of this weigh-in. Learning is an important part of this journey as you well know.
ReplyDeleteI think of you often and how you ate during the majority of your weight loss to see such great success as I decide what to eat each day that I'm more focused now. I always remember seeing so much salad and such, so I keep that in mind and I'm hoping to see such good success as you've seen this past year.
You are a success. Thanks for staying so honest and insightful on your blog. :)
I'm glad you're headed back down the scale, and yes, what you've learned is way more important than the #'s...I totally agree. :)
ReplyDeleteI really like your lazy days post. It is a great thing to have someones help with the head stuff. Just a little nudge in the direction helps us work out our "stuff". The first half of my marriage (~ 5 yrs) my Mr. and I hardly saw each other. It was hard. Now I have a problem with balance in my life not so much the time.
ReplyDeleteI feel good right now. There is a lot going on in my head, but I am in a positive mind set. I feel like I am on the right track.
