Words Of Wisdom

I watched President Obama’s recent speech on education and found that several of the remarks he made were easily applicable to different facets of life. It inspired me to make a list of quotations that I feel are likely to assist me as I take this journey. The words and phrases I gather here are largely not specific to persevering to make healthier choices, but I believe that they do have the ability to encourage and motivate me when I veer from my path of losing weight.

  3. I really like a lot of those, and am printing them out now! I especially find the Benjamin Franklin quote interesting. How fascinating that even all those years ago he realized the excess of food can lead to excell indulgence!

    Thanks for posting these.

  4. Another one I love (that I don't exactly remember and will surely mangle) is about falling off one's plan and is something about if you drop an egg on the floor, do you get out another egg or throw away the whole carton?

Okay, so the real quote is much better. :-)
