Stepping It Up

I am afraid that this being my third post of the day, I really haven’t much left to say. I am still giggling fairly often to myself about the walk I already wrote about taking this afternoon, so my brain isn’t really up for focusing too much right now.

I will report that my right upper arm has been quite sore due to my attempt at doing regular push ups last night, so I laid off of working those muscles at all today. Also, I did my exercise video again, but actually finally used the step. These may be small victories, but I know that they will ultimately add up to help me win this war.

- 8 glasses of water throughout the day
- 2 cups of strawberries
- 3 cups Caesar salad with light dressing, croutons, and dried cranberries
- 1 turkey sandwich on marble rye bread with fat free Miracle Whip, gravy, and pepper
- 8 whole wheat crackers
- 1 mug of sugar free caramel steamed soy milk
- 8 pieces of a dynamite sushi roll with soy sauce

- 1 hour and 45 minute walk
- 45 minute step workout video

  1. I just read the Comedy of Errors post and then this one. I laughed outloud. Sorry - I couldn't help it! :)

Oh goodness. You know what's great though? Is that you kept your sense of humor, and you kept going. That's dedication for you.

I hope that your arms feels strong again soon and that you have a great day. Your weight loss is so impressive!

  2. Wow, great day. Looks like you eat fairly well, got some exercise and kept good track of your water. I think you might need a little more water, but you are on right track. 1/2 body water in ounces is what I have read multiple times for water in a day.

  3. Your exercise is really great...I don't know you walk for that long!! If I do only walking and no jogging, it takes me 1 hr 15 mins to do 4 miles, and I'm damn near hobbling by the time I finish're doing more than me!! I don't know how you do it, but I'm so glad you will definitely get you to where you want to be! :)

  4. Emmett, I often have 9-12 glasses per day; 8 was low for me, but your advice is definitely sound.

    Thanks for the encouragement, all!
