Finally Feeling Festive!

I woke up in a really great mood and I am hoping that will translate into more Christmas cheer, because I am still having a little trouble feeling festive on a regular basis these days. I got a really good night’s sleep so that is probably why I am so chipper right now. I also got to make plans with one of my best friend’s to go shopping in a couple of weeks; he always asks for my help this time of year to pick out gifts for his family. So having that plan in place warms my heart and puts me in a happy place since the two of us haven’t had the chance to see each other all that much lately.

More holiday baking is on the agenda for today, so I will have to be sure that I don’t forgo the exercising. I tend to get easily distracted from other elements of my life when I am in project mode. I will be playing Christmas music while I am slaving away in the kitchen to try and elevate the joy factor, so maybe I’ll burn a few calories bopping to the tunes. Plus, if my mood starts to go downhill one of my commenters suggested covering myself in glitter to stay in the spirit of the season, so there’s always that!

  1. LOL at covering yourself in glitter!

Just wanted to let you know I sent my $100 away today to http://www.livingrock.ca/ and included a note so that it is directed toward Operation Christmas Blessing.

    Hope your baking was fun!!!

  3. I feel you on the Christmas spirit! It's hard for me living in southern Texas where it's 78 degrees to get in the spirit. But after buying our tree tonight, I think I'll be okay :)

Hope everything goes well in your baking and shopping!

  6. No glitter was required today, thank goodness! Kimberley, thank you so much for donating that money! I think it's a wonderful thing you are doing and my appreciation for your generousity is great! Jody, I am ashamed to admit it, but the workout did not happen (hangs head in shame). Tomorrow is another day though!
