Isn't Thanks Giving Over?

I would like to begin by thanking MizFit whose great post about staying motivated through the holidays inspired me to put an exercise ticker at the top of my blog. I am hoping this little reminder will keep me focused and help me stay committed to working out all the way through this upcoming month, even in the face of all the pending busyness. My plan to be active today fell by the wayside and I very much want to avoid that from reoccurring as much as possible in the next few weeks.

I also need to say thank you to Lori-Ann from Amazon Runner for bestowing another fantastic award unto me. I feel so lucky every time someone deems this blog worthy of one of these badges of recognition, and this one – the Deborah Award – leaves me feeling no different. I am honoured that I have received this award of “womanhood and friendship” and I will strive to live up to all that it stands for. Thanks so much, Lori-Ann!
I would like to pass this award onto Tammy at From Fat To Fab; she very much deserves to be recognized for those specific qualities which this badge acknowledges. I also wish to present this accolade to two bloggers I have only recently come to know. Thank you for your thoughts, stories, and insights Jody at Truth 2 Being Fit and Lainey at Shrink.

As far as the giveaway is concerned, I am heading to bed now and haven’t checked on the final comments. So I suppose that I will just have to assume that any remarks left on the post when I get up have actually been there all night. Right? *Wink!* I will post tomorrow about the final results of this unique concept!

FOOD & BEVERAGES:
- 10 glasses of water throughout the day
- 1 banana
- 3/4 cup fat free lemon chiffon yogurt
- 6 inch sub on brown bread with ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato, green pepper, onion, black olives, light mayonnaise, mustard, and pepper
- 1 Mandarin orange
- 1/4 cup corn
- 1/2 cup macaroni and cheese
- 1 pork chop
- 2 cups of Caesar salad with fat free dressing and croutons

EXERCISE:
- 50 stomach crunches

In fact, I was so honored, I have a blog post coming up this week on it & now I am going to mention your thoughtfulness along with Diane's! I am planning ahead as I head to UCLA this Thursday & trying to get some posts done ahead of time!

    Anyway, thank you... I love your new ticker!!! Great stuff AND I know you will stay committed this month. It is tough during the holidays but doing something is always better than doing nothing! You can up the intensity or break up your time into 10-20 minute increments a couple or 3 times a day! It still works!
