Weigh-In For Week 30

I have to admit, I am not seeing much of a difference from February’s picture (although maybe there is a bit of a difference in the stomach roll). I’m not complaining! I have lost 9.2 pounds since last month’s progress photo though, which is less than I have dropped in any other month, so I think that things are just slowing down a bit. Obviously it is harder to note changes when there is nearly half the loss that there has been in some previous months. I’m not worried about it – I will keep chipping away at this body even if the improvements are a bit difficult to discern as they become more incremental.

My measurements tell the same tale. Again, I’m not stressed about them – I admit I may be feeling a tiny bit deflated by the slowing progress – but I’m still happy that there is development of any kind. This is, however, the first month that I have had a number (my arms) not go down in size.

Weight - 158.6 lbs (-96.0 from start / -9.2 from Feb.)
Bust - 37.5 inches (-12.5 from start / -0.5 from Feb.)
Waist - 34.0 inches (-14.0 from start / -2.0 from Feb.)
Hips - 42.0 inches (-13.0 from start / -1.5 from Feb.)
Arms - 14.0 inches (-3.5 from start / -0.0 from Feb.)
Thighs - 24.0 inches (-8.5 from start / -1.0 from Feb.)
BMI - 24.8 (-15.1 from start / -1.5 from Feb.)

My weight has dropped 2.2 pounds from last week which is significant since today is the first time I will be recording a ‘normal’ weigh-in on my sidebar. I am thrilled that I have gotten to this point! I was just saying to someone that I started off at my highest weight as morbidly obese. By the time I started this blog, I was just barely out of that category and into the level 2 obesity classification. I moved from there down into level 1 obesity, kept going right through overweight, and am now just over the marker for being classed as normal. I am very proud of how far I have come!

  10. Amazing. I was just going to say what LauraLynne said...look at your upper arms. And you almost have space between your body and arms now when they hang down. They are no longer draped over teh kids of your body.

You're and inspiration to us all!
